For users having issues sending or receiving group MMS text, might need to reset your APN back to default.
Had this happen to us when we migrated to the Moto G7 and while we could send plain SMS text, when we tried to send or receive group text MMS it failed and just got stuck on messages that showed the "Download" icon and when clicking on it, it never loaded the MMS message at all.
Here's a good turtorial that we followed that worked for us.

Network & Internet > Mobile Network > Advanced > Access Point Names > Select menu button and select "Reset to default" to resolve Moto G7 MMS group text issue.
