SANDY KING CARPENTER Sandy King is the Co-Creator and Editor at Storm King Comics, a division of Storm King Productions, Inc. of which she is president. A film and television producer with a background in art, photography and animation, Sandy's filmmaking career has included working with John Cassavetes, Francis Ford Coppola, Michael Mann, Walter Hill, John Hughs and John Carpenter.

DEAN HASPIEL Emmy award winner and Eisner Award nominee Dean Haspiel created Billy Dogma, The Red Hook, illustrated for HBO's "Bored To Death," was a Master Artist at the Atlantic Center for the Arts, is a Yaddo fellow, a playwright, helped pioneer personal webcomics, and is the co-founder of Hang Dai Studios in Brooklyn, NY. AMBER BRITE Amber Brite is a professional prop-maker from Arizona, specializing in recreating aliens and other creatures from all kinds of sci-fi/fantasy worlds. SATURDAY 4:00p-7:00p in The Lair An LBCC favorite returns, as artist Pierre Bernard Jr. (LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O'BRIEN) showcases his artistic chops and teaches beginners of all ages the secrets of life drawing (supplies – and models – provided) in this fun and interactive lesson. Find him in Artists' Alley (table #D32) to learn this years' theme and begin the lesson – starting around 3:00 – and then join him and his modeling crew for a group session.
